My favourite things to photograph are found at the border between the man-made and the natural: A crack in a concrete wall sprouting moss; A painted surface decaying from exposure to sun and rain.
Humans like straight lines, right angles and uniform blocks of colour. Nature cannot stand these ideals, and will inevitably return them to chaos and disorder.
